In 2001, April Thomas formed Newberry Contracting, Inc. as the demand in the construction industry for full-service minority status increased. For over 25 years Newberry Contracting Inc. serviced their customers critical infrastructure for all types of projects. Newberry serves their customers big and small, from daily work order service to large capital construction projects. In 2026, Newberry Contracting was acquired by CapPro, Inc, a Florida-based holding company.
